Summer died. It's over. Gone. Won't be back for 8 months. Bye. Yes, I realize that it's the 10th and it's been fall for almost 3 weeks AND Seattle's summer has been over since August...but I think that everyone can agree with me when I say it's always hard to let go of the sun and welcome in the dark and gloomy months to come. One way to ring in the new season is with autumn's favorite gourde: The Pumpkin. Pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin pies, pumpkin smoothies at Jamba. While the weather outside is nasty, the oven inside is blazing and full of treats fit for fall, Halloween through Christmas.
The pumpkin roll has been a tradition in the Oslie household for about 5 years and I don't plan on letting this fade out. Ever. Try it and you'll see what I mean! Pumpkin + cream cheese + love=om nom nom.

This recipe for
pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls might be a little complex for my tiny kitchen and limited time/patience, but definitely something to shoot for once I go home in a few weeks!
I know it sounds weird, but the Pumpkin Smash Smoothie at Jamba Juice might be the best drink I've ever had there. I wish they offered this more because it is BOMB. This
recipe is pretty similar, so if I ever get a craving in June I can just whip one up myself!
Do you like cake? Do you also like cups? What about pumpkin? (If you've gotten this far down, then you like pumpkin) Judge these by their looks, because they all look de-LISH.
